OnePager

FlameWire is a Bittensor subnet that coordinates a global mesh of full‑archive nodes. Developers send requests to a single URL, the network transparently routes each call to the fastest healthy miner, delivering sub‑200 ms p99 latency with no vendor lock‑in.

FlameWire intends to make Web3 infrastructure as open and unstoppable as the blockchains it serves. FlameWire replaces opaque, centralized RPC services with a permissionless gateway where anyone can provide capacity, anyone can consume capacity, and every token holder can audit where the value flows.

Core Principles

Principle

Why it matters

Decentralization‑First

Infrastructure lives with the community, not on a single cloud account.

Radical Transparency

Emissions, buybacks, and treasury wallets are visible on‑chain 24/7.

Performance Without Compromise

Full‑archive nodes in multiple regions deliver sub‑200 ms p99 latency.

Censorship Resistance

With hundreds of independent miners, no single party can block or throttle calls.

Who Is FlameWire For?

  • Developers & dApps – One endpoint for Ethereum, Bittensor, Sui and the chains that follow.

  • Foundations – On‑board your chain with transparent costs.

  • Miners – Monetize existing nodes and earn ALPHA emissions.

  • Validators – Score miner performance and steer rewards toward the most reliable miners.

How It Works

  1. Miner Registration – Node operators run the FlameWire subnet client which register the RPC endpoints, to the gateway level and run health metrics periodically.

  2. Request Routing – User calls hit https://rpc.flamewire.io/{chain}/ and are load‑balanced by Kong across miners. Validators periodically request data from all the miners and set weights based on the performances.

  3. Billing & Credits – Each call burns prepaid credits (or free‑tier allowance). Revenue wallets periodically swap for ALPHA and feed the treasury.

  4. Tokenomics Loop – Emission rewards miners & stakers; buybacks remove ALPHA from circulation, aligning demand with token scarcity.

Why Choose FlameWire vs. Centralized RPC?

  • No Single Point of Failure – Outages in one region or provider do not take your app down.

  • Price Discoverability – Pay‑as‑you‑go credits + on‑chain treasury give a real‑time cost curve.

  • Community Ownership – Anyone can spin up a node and share in rewards, democratizing infra margins.
